The piece
Fez Coffee Table
The Fez tables come as a pair: one low and wide, one small enough to follow a chair across the room. Nested, they read as a single piece with a stepped edge; apart, they hold two corners of the same sitting area.
Each top is cut from solid wood and laid out so the grain radiates from the centre — a sunburst that shifts with the light through the day. The spheres beneath are turned one at a time, then finished until the join between ball and top disappears.
Hand-crafted in our workshops, in a Hispano-Moorish tradition of turned wood older than the low table itself.
